Rooted in Kerala since 2007
We equip women and rural communities with practical skills, sustainable livelihoods and the confidence to build lasting change.
Who we are
Rural Development Foundation is a Thiruvananthapuram-based NGO formed to empower women and underserved communities through skills and economic development.
Our approach is hands-on: training, counselling, livelihood support, community partnerships and awareness programmes designed around real local needs.
What we do

Vocational training, counselling and practical support that help women build confidence and independent incomes.
Community health, food safety awareness, coastal support and initiatives for children, older people and vulnerable groups.
Study centres, workshops, scholarships, publications and cultural programmes that widen access to knowledge and opportunity.
